Produced by the award-winning events team behind Shambala Festival, Starry Village was a tiny, village-style family camping retreat, packed with workshops, activities, performances and live music. Previously known as Starry Skies, the festival took place at Kentchurch, Herefordshire, on a beautiful family farm in a dark sky reserve nestled between the Black Mountains
What made Starry Village truly unique was its families-only policy. Unlike many family-friendly festivals, Starry Village was for families ONLY, and with only a few hundred families on site, parents could truly relax whilst the kids roamed free . The festival aimed to be a truly affordable UK family holiday, with 99% of the amazing activities on site being free of charge. Activities included den building, tree climbing, rope swings, storytelling and star gazing, all designed to help children connect with nature. This award-winning event was a cross between a family friendly festival and affordable camping holiday, perfect for families who wanted festival magic without the chaos of typical events.
